he Website Developer – WordPress will analyze, design, develop, implement and support NCI’s growing
website portfolio. We need developers who can adhere to the latest web development standards and current programming methodologies and techniques while managing concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. The developer will use their excellent communication and proven analytical skills to effectively prioritize and execute individual and team oriented tasks.
Successful candidates will have these skills and experience:
â?¢ Must be knowledgeable and have working experience with WordPress.
â?¢ Experience in creating and customizing WordPress themes required
â?¢ Experience in creating or customizing and troubleshooting WordPress plugins required
â?¢ Proficiency with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, JQuery
â?¢ Proficiency with cross-browser, cross-platform issues, and W3C Web standards
â?¢ Experience with WordPress MU preferred
â?¢ Experience with development of iPhone apps, custom PHP or Facebook apps a plus
